My Story

There are many “official” titles I can use to describe myself,

  • High School Teacher

  • Reiki Practitioner

  • Personal Trainer

  • Nutritional Therapist

  • Executive Functioning Coach

  • Yoga Instructor

  • Somatic Therapist

  • Women’s Wellness Coach

but what all of these titles really do is reveal one major thing about me: I LOVE helping people.

My first career as a New York City high school teacher confirmed to me that serving others is at the core of my purpose in this lifetime.

My personal health journey, through which I healed my autoimmune diagnosis naturally, confirmed to me that the world of fitness, nutrition and energetic wellness is what lights me up the most (the people in my life may refer to it as an obsession).

In hindsight, I am so grateful for my autoimmune diagnosis - it required me to step into complete self-responsibility for my health, and nothing is more empowering than that.

My ongoing fascination with the cultivation of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being inspired me to leave classroom teaching.

Taking the leap of faith to leave a full-time, very secure career behind was scary, but not as scary as ignoring my true calling.

The inner me knew that I could blend the learning I had acquired through my deep love of history & ancestral knowledge with my diverse trainings and experience in wellness to help other women become as strong and as healthy as their ancestors.

The transformative effect that dietary, movement, sleep and subtle energetic lifestyle changes can have on a woman’s health is simply incredible.

In the midst of this major life transition, the COVID-19 vaccine mandates were rolled out across the country.

This overt act of authoritarianism (please excuse the inner history teacher in me) confirmed to me how important it is for women to become well versed in their bodies so they can confidently advocate for their needs when the “guidance” of the system feels fundamentally harmful to them.

Unfortunately, to keep us sick, tired, confused and compliant, us modern women have been purposely separated from our inner feminine knowing.

As a former history teacher, I am acutely aware of the fact that ancient women held incredible power in society as they were the creators of life, keepers of time (due to inner cyclical alignment with the cycles of the moon), midwives, herbalists, natural healers and channelers of cosmic energy.

As a result of this spiritual separation, the women of today are energetically depleted, resulting in the ongoing development of physical, mental and emotional imbalances.

It’s time we collectively step back into our feminine power so we can live vibrant, limitless lives.

In all honesty, there is nothing I would rather do than to help you do just that.

Vibrant wellness isn’t a myth..

It’s a skill you can master for a limitless life.

Wise Woman Wisdom, my three month, 1:1 coaching container was born.

My why behind Wise Woman Wisdom is two-fold:

  1. To honor all of the women who came before me that were utilizing natural healing modalities & conscious practices even when they were silenced.

  2. To help the women of today shift from confusion to confidence in terms of their wellbeing so they can live vibrantly and limitlessly, free of any health limitations.

And finally, to me, vibrant, limitless wellbeing is grounded in natural practices.

I whole heartedly believe that once you have built a solid health foundation with the support of an expert, you should be able to continue on your path independently, using free to low cost practices throughout the rest of your life.

You may have been conditioned to hold a belief that natural practices are not as potent as man made products and treatments.

However, overtime, a blend of natural supports will bring you into greater alignment with yourself than whatever the professional marketing and sales tactics of the multi-billion dollar health & wellness industries have tried to convince you of.

What does that mean?

  • Bone broth instead of overpriced skin care products

  • Sauerkraut instead of overpriced probiotic supplements

  • Restful, rhythmic sleep instead of an expensive caffeine habit

  • Morning & evening sun exposure instead of synthetic melatonin supplements

  • Bodyweight exercises, yoga & meditation instead of weight-loss drugs

  • Connection to the lunar cycle & therefore your own cycle instead of synthetic IUDs or birth control

  • Herbs & flower essences instead of over the counter pharmaceuticals

..the list goes on & on
